Finally the 'big' job he left Fulham for has come up.

i think hughes will probably be able to do a better job than warnock did at QPR, good appointment for them. For hughes, a man who was being chased by all and sundry before we snapped him up, is settling at QPR. He's a small team manager, same as warnock, just with more wanton abandon for defense.

Who fucking cares what he does. He is a total douchelick. Funny how the Tafia are having trouble taking root. The Kia thing is what irks me most about him. Makes him seem crooked as fuck. He's a total charlatan. Can't believe they'd hire him. I didn't hate him when he was with city for obvious reasons but I hate the bitter rag cunt now. he can lick my ass out. Fulham are lucky. Sparky. Fucking give us a wave. Pecker.

I see Hughes is stalling (although he'll sign) whilst he works out if QPR are big enough for a man of his ambition - would be funny as fook if QPR picked someone else, although the complete removal of Warnock, Curle et al & no caretaker surely indicates a pre arranged plan to bring Hughes & the Tafia in en mass. We don't really have the moral high ground, but agree the press should go to town on this, bet Hughes was at the last QPR match ;)

Oh, I don't know mate. I'm sure that Mittal still owns a fair share in the club (about a 3rd) and is one of the richest blokes in the world. If he decides to invest then Hughes won't be going cap in hand to get signings.

according to the radio this morning hes asked for at least 30 million to reinvest. they must be mulling it over,he was actually interviewed coming away from initial talks never heard of that before, they usually keep it quiet till the deal is done.

I read something this morning saying they were hopeful of having an announcement today regarding an appointment, so sounds like it's almost done. wouldn't be too surprised if it took longer though.

That maybe so and maybe I'm just missing it, but I've not seen too many reports saying QPR will spend big. I'm sure they'll spend decent, but to break past the current top 6 anytime soon they'd need a huge injection of cash.

You're right there, they will need a massive injection. They don't want to tell the world though, they'd be ripped off left, right and centre. Imagine if they were to give him 30 mil though in Jan? That is a massive amount for any club and most certainly get him a few quality players.

I personally think they are thinking long-term and Hughes is ensuring that his 'New Project' is going to be backed. Also, I reckon that he would've been there at the start of the season if Fernandes hadn't took over so late and that each of the signings were geared towards Hughes rather than Warnock. It was just a matter of time, and results, before he picked up the reigns.

Seems to me that he's done 'A Mancini' as it's now known but the reality is that Hughes had previously done it to Sven. Ever decreasing circles, you could say.

Yes. A fact according to clueless and ... erm ... facts. Wouldn't be surprised if he pulls them to around 11th position, but depends on transfers.

From us, I can see Ned going, and possibly even a cheeky attempt to get NdJ on loan.

Didn't this fucker moan about Mancini working behind his back when he was sacked? And now that cunt has nerve to do the exact same.

Typical fucking rag.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Yes. I make it less than 24 hours between Warnock being sacked and talks starting.

I wonder if Oliver Holt will still be going on about this two years from now.

Also, isn't Joorabchian banned from acting as an Agent?? I know he's made a mockery out of that ban by acting behind the scenes but he was speaking publicly yesterday about Hughes as he has been on Tevez.

He's not an agent, he's an advisor. Whenever he's now described, it's as an advisor. No idea what the difference is, but appears the FA, UEFA and FIFA are powerless to stop him. Maybe I should set myself up as an agent, sorry, advisor, as it seems there are no rules as to who can do it.
