Pushed to right back to get games back in the day.
I dont fancy chucking him straight in, plus someone said he isnt named in our premier league squad. Not sure if that can be changed in the Jan window though?

Any chance we could drag him out of retirement?

If I'm honest I think he looks like a good player. The worry I have is he looks like he could get sent off or give away a pen or both. Made even more likely by the fact he is a city player.
He is very young though and I am hesitant to write him off and go for the panic buy. We don't want Cahill on £130,000 a week refusing to fuck off ala bridge.

It can be ammended, to adjust for transfer, injuries, etc. And IIRC we didn't fill out the entire allotment anyway in September.

He IS in our squad, the person saying that had it wrong. Probably only because we HAD to put him in, you cannot leave out senior pros if you have vacancies. He did really well at Sunderland last season and could do a job now AND potentially add to his value.

Nedum Onuoha is in big demand
Wolves and West Brom were today braced for a bidding war for Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha.
QPR and Wolves were today reported as both having made a £2.5m offer for the Nigeria-born stopper.
But although the 25-year-old remains a firm target of Wolves, they have denied making such an offer.
“This is not true – it’s complete speculation,” said chief executive Jez Moxey.
Albion have a long-standing interest in Onuoha and the club were close to signing the 25-year-old on loan in the last window, while Wolves’ interest was first reported in the Express & Star last month.
The Baggies were only planning to use the loan market this month, although injuries to Steven Reid and Jonas Olsson might force them to reconsider.
Bolton, Blackburn and Wigan, as well as Newcastle and Sunderland – where Onuoha spent last season on loan – have also been heavily linked with him.
The stopper has been made available on a permanent transfer this month by Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini.
But Lancashire sources say Onuoha is likely to be too expensive now for a move to the Reebok or Ewood Park.
Meanwhile, Bristol City boss Derek McInnes has denied any contact from Wolves over striker Nicky Maynard.
Reports say Wolves have offered £1.5m for the 25-year-old, who has been the subject of speculation after refusing to sign a new contract with his deal running out this summer.
But former Albion midfielder McInnes said: “There is no truth in these rumours.
“As things stand, we have still not received a single bid for Nicky Maynard.
“Players like him are few and far between and, of course, I want to keep him here if I can.
“I cannot control what other people do, but Nicky is a very good player and I want to work with good players.”

I think Carroll would eat Savic for Breakfast,Micah is gonna have to get used to the armband and playing centre half for a while Savic can play against Wigan.

Micah's heading abilities are much more attack focused, and his positional issues contribute to ineffective heading on the defensive end. Carroll may be wank but what thing he is good at is positioning himself for ... And winning ... Offensive headers. It would be a total waste of Micah's strengths on the pitch

Agree with this... I think Mancini has already shown he has some degree of faith in Savic and in all honesty i dont think he's been THAT bad. Micah is a brilliant asset on the right hand side and to change that because we dont trust our centre halves to do a job seems a bit daft.
Its something we're going to have to get used to, and i cant see Micah starting CB for all four of those games VK is banned for.
One thing is for sure, its turning out to be an even harder month than we already knew it would be.
