This is a serious question and not intended to provoke any hostility.
As the whole footballing world knows Man City are now at the top of the league.
This was due purely because of the sale to your wealthy owner.
Do City fans think that it would have been better to have achieved success through organic growth or are you happy in the knowledge that everyone thinks you have just 'bought' success.
Our two 25 man premiership squads cost 329 and 269m resepctively to assemble.
Ours includes 25.5 million of talent which is absent, so we are leading the league with a squad assembled quickly and at roughly 10% greater cost than your own
Owing to your many outstanding years of success your squad assembly should be evolutionary (ours revolutionary) so it is odd that so much money has been spent by your team. Organic growth clearly didnt happen at OT.
You are I believe old enough to remember (and perhaps even been at) the game where Joe Royle fielded a side whose collective weekly wages (including the subs) was less than Roy Keane's then 92k per week.
How did you feel about that?
