Ive only seen the Mario incident once in the spuds match and it looked to me like he didnt even make contact with parkers head.

Neither did Kompany.
He did touch him but he was so off-balance there is no way you can ban a player for that. You can also say the same about Lescott.
I wonder if "the ref should be backed to the hilt to maintain the authority of referees up and down the country" on this one. We will see.
