Mario witch hunt on the cards?

Fuckin media at it again..If the ref didnt see the so called stamp on Parker the FA will deal with it i bet!.Clunts...3 game ban anyone?

I think they have now the "Pepe" precedent and that is the reason for this fuss. Weird enought, i didn't heard them talking about the elbow that Balo received at WBA.

I saw the game on other station, not on Sky, and the commentator, a well known Scum fan said Balo didn't want to hit Parker. According to him, Balo was just trying to keep his balance after that contact and beside that, let's say he gets a suspension, for them this is normal, he will get a 3 game ban or 4 game ban, because of his red card on Scouse 1 Arena in november?

Neither did Kompany.

He did touch him but he was so off-balance there is no way you can ban a player for that. You can also say the same about Lescott.

I wonder if "the ref should be backed to the hilt to maintain the authority of referees up and down the country" on this one. We will see.

The more I think about this the more I reckon they will do nothing...they fucked us with Kompany and if they do the same to Lescott or Ballo then the shit will fly.

I think he meant to stamp on him, i dont think you can justify him stamping down and backwards for 'balance' and if he had of got a red i wouldnt have contested it.

We won't hear the last of it, and the red tops will make sure he gets a lengthy ban. The Sun's Sean Custis said about an hour ago that he was just about to write said article for tomorrow.

A possible upside is that it could be Dzeko's redemption. A run of games could give him the confidence he seems to be sorely lacking. Either that or he'll just confirm some people's suspicions that he's shit.

A key point is going to be whether the ref saw it or not. As the ball was still close to the incident Webb must have seen it - unless he's going to admit that his attention was elsewhere, it's not as though it happened behind his back. He let play continue, so it follows he thought nothing of it. Webb only stopped the game when it was clear Parker had a head injury. Something that wasn't immediately apparant on his first view of the incident.

Talkshite couldn't even wait for the end of the game to make the most if it. Howard Webb was turned away from the incident so couldn't have seen it! Inviting the FA to intervene!
Shame they didn't pursue Glen Johnson for his shameful tackle in Cc.

Hey mate im defending one of our players..Every fookin site ive been on are slaggin Mario. After seeing so many bad decisions against us of late, it was worthy of starting a thread to debate the incident.

Webb's attention already had probably wandered off to North London. He was probably getting revved up and nervous about how his beloved Trafford Red Sox would do, later in the afternoon, against the Arsenic.

If he admits this as the reason for his loss of concentration, to the FA, they'll view it as being completely understandable and be very sympathetic and forgiving to him......and then gleefully throw the book at SuperMario.

I seriously hope this goes no further but anyone suggesting that Mario is innocent is mad in the head.

Mario tried to do him. End of. People are going to focus on it and those that get paid to make a meal of stuff like this will make a meal of it.

I can't belive how adept some people are at convincing themselves that they did actually see what they wanted to see.

He tried to stamp on Parker's head ffs. Then went on to win the game for us. Why are people so surprised that this is such big news?
