What if we don't get them? Where do we go then? We are better speaking out now while we are in Position A to win it before it looks like sour grapes.

Sorry Bob but this shite has really got me wound up. It has been going on for fucking years mate, even as far back as 1906, when every member of the City staff (directors, management and players) were banned fromCity for life. They tried and nearly succeeded to destroy us then, we can not allow this to happen again.
Personally, I don't give a flying fucl who it is, the media, the FA, the G14, UeFA, FIFA or even God himself...We can not just sit back and take it. We can not simply accept or ride this out. City have to take steps to defend itself from this shite.
Our present policy of being sweet to our attackers has not only failed to improve our situation as the club believed, it has actually allowed the situation to deteriorate. More City inaction will only see the situation deteriorate even more.

The moment we accept any of this shite without doing/saying anything to put things right, is the moment we give permission for the media to continue. It is not something we have to ride out nor merely accept or get used to. It is something we have to sort out and sort out soon. Inaction on this issue by the club will only see this shite get worse.

If we win the title we will be the next media darlings because they will have to acknowledge that the power has truly shifted and they won't want to be on the wrong side of the dominating team in the PL.

Sorry mate but that was so sweetly naive. Trust me and understand that though the years have gone by, nothing has changed with the media. We won the League in '68 at Newcastle. MOTD didn't televise the game. Instead they covered the rags at the swamp. In 1970, we won the European Cup Winners' Cup. It was the 1st European Fotball Final NOT to be covered by British TV. When we battered Schalke (away) on the way to winning that trophy, we were the only English club still in Europe. It was a major game and a magnificent result for English football. The following morning, the English bqack pages were full of reports of a non competetive game (friendly, testimonial, charity?...can't remember), in which the rags were playing. Mike Doyle had to be physically dragged off the sports editor of a major daily paper..he was so angered.
Media?...Drool over City?...Never happened in the past...unlikely to ever happen in the future, unless we do something to cause that change.

From all that I've read and seen, there is no doubt that there is an agenda against City from the Media and the powers that be. As John has excellently demonstrated above and in other posts, this is nothing new and goes back a long way.
However and I hate to bring this up, is this bias now more pronounced and more passionate simply because the current City owners are Arabs ?? As someone else said in this thread, no matter what good the new owners are doing in Manchester, nothing but the negative is ever mentioned !!

It's not a joint agenda against City, it's pure & simply that the whole football industry & media is full of people who support or have interests in our rivals. They have been building this influence for decades whilst we have been up & down the leagues.
We are ruining their dreams of the future & they don't like it. 20 years from now, we will have bucketfuls of trophies & 100s of 'friends' in the media. Beforehand we have to fight the fuckers, but not by getting Mario an extra game ban.
