Mario witch hunt on the cards?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I admire the stance John ... past history tells me otherwise. As I said a couple of championships and maybe a Chumps league shinny to go with them will soon have them drooling over us and denying they ever had it in for us.

Time for David Bernstein, to flex his City muscle and slap a few heads.

What if we don't get them? Where do we go then? We are better speaking out now while we are in Position A to win it before it looks like sour grapes.

Sorry Bob but this shite has really got me wound up. It has been going on for fucking years mate, even as far back as 1906, when every member of the City staff (directors, management and players) were banned fromCity for life. They tried and nearly succeeded to destroy us then, we can not allow this to happen again.

Personally, I don't give a flying fucl who it is, the media, the FA, the G14, UeFA, FIFA or even God himself...We can not just sit back and take it. We can not simply accept or ride this out. City have to take steps to defend itself from this shite.

Our present policy of being sweet to our attackers has not only failed to improve our situation as the club believed, it has actually allowed the situation to deteriorate. More City inaction will only see the situation deteriorate even more.

Calm reply, Mario is to blame. How many times John, will it take for him to allow the penny to drop. I hate the media I hate the feelings I have about agenda's, but I am also aware we have a loon in a blue shirt love or loathe him, the man is tapped in the head. This is almost some sort of side-show now and the funny side is long gone, fuck the stories, the nutty mind he has this is serious, we don't win the league, Mario will be caned.

Chinners Mate,
Our history shows that we have constantly sat back and tolerated this shit. It has gone on for almost 100 years and our tolerance and inaction has merely allowed the situation to continue to deteriorate.
We have been here before Mate. No matter how good we were in the 60s and 70s, they never drooled over us. They continued to either ignore us or attack us. No matter what we win or how well we play, they will still fill their bellies at our expense, accept our hospitality and continue to shit on our heads. The headline is already written..."CITY BUY THE PREM TROPHY or CARLING CUP or EUROPA LEAGUE." (delete as necessary)

The main agenda people is for the fans of the old regime (the media have people working for them that are fans of a football club too, go figure) to try and stop City from winning anything at all cost. I have given a thought the best action now would be to tell Mancini to only give short sweet answers during his interviews in spanish.

The moment we accept any of this shite without doing/saying anything to put things right, is the moment we give permission for the media to continue. It is not something we have to ride out nor merely accept or get used to. It is something we have to sort out and sort out soon. Inaction on this issue by the club will only see this shite get worse.

If we win the title we will be the next media darlings because they will have to acknowledge that the power has truly shifted and they won't want to be on the wrong side of the dominating team in the PL.

I'm with John on this all the way.

I saw this creeping in more and more and then accelerate when the money came in. It has now reached its peak and the club and fans (finally for some doubters) are seeing the bias for what it is.

Mancini is sending platt out to make sure he doesn't say something out of turn and I believe in a large way it also to basically say he doesn't want to talk to cunts who witch hunt his players and act as a bent FA's mouthpiece.

I just hope we can put everything we have into this huge opportunity tomorrow night to stick it up to the rascist hypocrites and crooked media/fa.

Please please please get us to wembley and get more silverware and confidence on board in the mix.

I have no doubt it would galvanise us from top to bottom and we will win the league.

We need to get angry. Fuck that "letting it go" bollox. That clearly doesn't work.

Use the anger from the stands to the pitch and we'll beat the worst liverpool team for fucking years in their own back yard where they have been decidedly average all season.

Oh btw, I have video evidence of howard webb staring at the incident he didn't see. Looks fuckky intentional from evey angle. He should be retrospectively banned.

Sorry mate but that was so sweetly naive. Trust me and understand that though the years have gone by, nothing has changed with the media. We won the League in '68 at Newcastle. MOTD didn't televise the game. Instead they covered the rags at the swamp. In 1970, we won the European Cup Winners' Cup. It was the 1st European Fotball Final NOT to be covered by British TV. When we battered Schalke (away) on the way to winning that trophy, we were the only English club still in Europe. It was a major game and a magnificent result for English football. The following morning, the English bqack pages were full of reports of a non competetive game (friendly, testimonial, charity?...can't remember), in which the rags were playing. Mike Doyle had to be physically dragged off the sports editor of a major daily paper..he was so angered.

Media?...Drool over City?...Never happened in the past...unlikely to ever happen in the future, unless we do something to cause that change.

not sure if this is the right thread....

but, regarding marios ban, we should focus on the positive> this ban will give Džeko a run of games in the starting 11 and, hopefully, we will get some answers about his ability/future.

palus, let the wankfest commence!

From all that I've read and seen, there is no doubt that there is an agenda against City from the Media and the powers that be. As John has excellently demonstrated above and in other posts, this is nothing new and goes back a long way.
However and I hate to bring this up, is this bias now more pronounced and more passionate simply because the current City owners are Arabs ?? As someone else said in this thread, no matter what good the new owners are doing in Manchester, nothing but the negative is ever mentioned !!

It's not a joint agenda against City, it's pure & simply that the whole football industry & media is full of people who support or have interests in our rivals. They have been building this influence for decades whilst we have been up & down the leagues.

We are ruining their dreams of the future & they don't like it. 20 years from now, we will have bucketfuls of trophies & 100s of 'friends' in the media. Beforehand we have to fight the fuckers, but not by getting Mario an extra game ban.

Harry has his mates, RM has none, we are a cover story asmoke screen we have the points lets move the fuck on and allow nothing to get in the way, we knew this was coming deal with it, a day at Wembley as I have posted on another thread will piss them off more than any appeal, which draws out a no win saga. Win the League Fergie retires.

I think you can rest easy on that score Mate. Though there may be a little tribalism going on privately in the heads of a few but this is about the 3 essentials of the trough. MONEY, POWER and CONTROL.
Those are the motor factors that drive the top table and they are happy to grope around in the knickers of anyone who can enhance their objectives.
What is going on now, is that having created a massive financial and power gap between them and the rest of the World, they don't want any more snouts at their trough. They are the self built establishment and we are new kids on the block.

If we survive the FFP and surmount the obstacles placed in our way, over time, we will eventually be accepted. Some may have a private chuckle about tea towels worn rather than hung in the kitchen but publically they well be more than happy to snuggle up in bed next to our bank account.

Start by fucking Liverpool out of the cup & winning another trophy, then take the League off the rags. Then laugh.

Winning the Europa league would also be a massive help for our European profile and future seeding. Plus, the more I laugh, the better i feel.
