Loving the news service, but afraid thar the prosecutions case is alittle thin. Not seeing any evidence of the money being a bonus, lets hope they can get them on some legal mumbo jumbo like tax on gifts or something, atleast where I am from you cannot gift someone more than 2000£ without paying taxes on it.

Obviously they're going to lie through their teeth, and will probably have agreed a story between themselves, whether brief-assisted or not, but they still surely won't be able to get around the following FACTS

1).They set up a bank account in MONACO, whose name was an obvious Redknapp code amalgam
2).The bank representative confirmed Redknapp having visited there and he transferred money out of it.
3).This alleged 'repayment' instruction was only issued after journalists got wind of it/the IR started asking questions about it


Of course the prosecution legal team could be incompetent, or the jury could be bought, or a mis-trial could be declared, but thats the only possible way that Redknapp won't be found guilty

It was IN COURT. Redknapp stopped speaking for a mo then said 'please stop staring at me I know you are trying to cause me a problem, ok' to one of the detectives that worked on the case ... very surreal
