Gulag Allstars transfer pending apparently!

Can we flog him to them now?

Flogging is the least he deserves.

Disagree lets use the guy for all we can get out of him. It's hard to forgive because he has been a tw+t but if he starts banging in goals and we get that belief back then it ll be worth it.

No player is more important then City so he's just a small cog in a big machine. Use him to win the league then we ll be singing his name in pubs all summer. after that he can be packed off to Russia or some other hell whole and we start again .

I'll be gobsmacked to hear people singing his name all summer even if he did play ... well not sung in a complementary way

Seriously, don't read too much into that, if a player is under contract and the squad isn't full then we HAVE to include them under FA rules.

Mancini comments actually say theres a chance:

"If he comes back - and he is fit - it is possible," conceded Mancini.

Tevez, 27, remains in Argentina and, as yet, there has been no indication when the striker may return.
"Carlos is not an option at the moment but it is possible in the future if he comes back," added Mancini.
"I hope for him he has been training in the last three months to help his condition.
"There is only one thing on my mind, the Barclays Premier League."

i am not sure how i feel about this

He has to say it to cover the club's arse from a legal standpoint.

Absolutely.

There is zero chance of him taking the field for us again.

I think its pretty simple. If the cunt is fit enough I'd play him. If he had a great game and scored, I'd play him again.

And I'd keep using him if it meant us winning the league. There is no "soul" or "class" about how clubs are perceived by other fans.

I don't give a fuck about other fans and I don't give a fuck about tevez anymore.

But I'll use the cunt in anyway that helps us get to where we are going.

Note, there's quite a lot of ifs in there and the likelyhood is he'll never play for us again.

I hear what you're saying Dub but it's not so much the embarrassment or what other fans think, it's more about Mancini's authority and how playing T***z again may affect that.

Will he garner the same respect if he climbs down now? I don't believe so and I believe that could be damaging in the long run.

I don't believe he will play for City again but on the off chance he does it will have to bs under the conditions that he releases a public statement apologising for his actions, otherwise the authority of the whole club is undermined.

The thing is, you're in fantasy land if you think he can actually come back and dominate the league like he did last season. He hasn't put in a good game since last February and he hasn't even played a game since October! And when he played, he wasn't anything special!

Do you think Tevez is some superhero who can press a button and return to full fitness and form instantly? And don't be naive enough to think that he's been training 100% in between all of his golf rounds...

The big reason no clubs wanted to take a risk on him is because he is a player who hasn't played for a few months in the middle of the season. By the time he gets back to match fitness, there'll be about 6 weeks left. So then he has 6 weeks to discovery his best form, while going against people who have been playing regularly all season.

You can't summon/transport Tevez from 2010 to the current moment. And even if you could he should still fuck off. Where are your principles or respect for the club? We get close to victory and some people are willing to give up their dignity just to take the last step. Pathetic

Spot on...............Tevez, when he was super fit he was a great player who got in front of the defences with sheer determination and speed but I remember when he played loads of games last year and he lost half a yard which resulted in him being average to whatever.

On another note..he can just fuck off.

Exactly.

If Mancini says Tevez will never play for us again, other clubs who may want to buy him will believe they get him for next to nothing. If Mancini says Tevez is welcome back, then it may force other clubs to pay a bit more if they really want him.

With all due respect mate, I don't give a fuck about what other fans and pundits think, and I'm not bullshitting myself. I only care about the opinions of people I'm interested in, and so that excludes almost all other fans and pundits.

Whilst I won't deny that there are elements of the media that show an anti-City bias in their reporting, does it really bother me? No. I'm not going to spend my time worrying and getting pissed off by the opinions of those I don't really care about.
