Playing as frustratingly as we are lately, along with the absolutely ridiculous refereeing decisions (EVERY SINGLE GAME!!) is bad enough, but with that commentating... I actually felt like turning it off.
When the ball hit Neville's arm en route to Dzeko standing in front of goal, the commentators explained that it wasn't a penalty because he "tried to get his arm out of the way".
So all you have to do is TRY gentlemen. TRY not to be offside and you're sure to be through on goal. TRY not to foul and the whistle won't go. TRY not to lose and you're guaranteed at least a point.
This isn't exclusive - its not either the ref's fault OR the team's fault. It can be both. And last night it was a shocking performance from both the team and the ref.
Sure, we played pedestrian like and only looked like scoring once from open play... but these are games when maybe two penalties win you the game. Ask the rags, the ref spotted those two.
Oh, and definite red card for tackle on Richards. Exactly like the Scholes sending off in the derby last season.
A shite performance from City. Definitely. Two penalties and a sending off for Everton? Definitely.
Conspiracy? Maybe. Paranoia? Definitely not.
Don't let all those facts get in the way of certain City fans claiming it's 'just a coincidence' though Dub.
I'm not arsed with the muppets who still can't see any bias Mase. I don't even bother arguing with those morons anymore.
As for the "roll your sleeves up and show we can win with the refs against us". I'm not even sure how that works, what with the refs running the whole thing.
