This was one that we should've got something but when you look at the CB pairing surely most would suggest that it could lead to potential mistakes. To lose the best CB in the league (my opinion) is a massive blow, but to lose both has to have a real detrimental affect on the team. The goal came from sloppy play from Savic (who is seriously low on confidence) while we were pushing forward, which was always to be expected after his recent performances, but is that Mancini's fault? I can't pin that on him but what I can say is that he should've seen it coming, the rest of us did.
As for the question of him being sacked, you've got to be having a laugh. We've been top of the shop all season and would be well away if it wasn't for the best season the current 19 times champions have ever had. That's no coincidence and there have been many occassions where they've had the luck of the Irish on their side, unlike us who have to contend with a ref who will give the opposition team every chance to fall over and get a free while the likes of Mario are overlooked because he is seen as a 'Bad Boy' - or should that be 'A City Player'.
Mancini has his faults, just like all of us, but he is trying to win the league while we just get to stand and watch. Could you and I do better, I don't know, but given the chance I'm sure we'd try - just like him.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".
