Agree.

Strange selections at key moments have seen us exit 2 winnable competitions in the Europa and Carling Cups. Twice in the last 6 weeks we have "underestimated" opponents.

A trophyless season with this squad, considering the position we were in on Jan 1st, would be some collapse.

Not impressed Roberto, at all.

I'm not arsed about him 'resting' players in this competition, in fact I'm all for it, but I'm not into pointlessly bizarre selections/formations when there is no need for it. That wasn't the strongest, best balanced team we could field even with players rested.

The balance of the team & the way it played was nonsense & I can't understand why it was neccessary to pick that team. It didn't help the players get through the tie more easily & less likely to get injured, it made the players' job harder & more likely to pick up a strain. Bob seems to have a need to do stuff like this in a few games every season. Random experimental stuff out of the blue.

Ranieri used to do the same & look how that ended up; second & sacked. Bob needs to be careful; he is being watched & evaluated.

Ranieri is sacked from Inter ? well Inter is hot -cold this season...

FA cup?

ok i agree but that was last season and i know howe big is it after so many years i relly respect that he won that and at start of the season i was suprised how City playing but now there is somthing wrong becose we see last 30 min last night they shuld destroy teams like that with no problems and to go out of C.L, well with this team we shuld go trogth grups and last few games somthing is not ok becose its not problem in one or two players last night like u have somthin horrible foe 60 min and then they fucken destroy Sporting in last 30 i didnt say sack him or somthing like that i just think City ias the best team in Leugue and not by litlleand we shuld have win the title this season becose we are bether then rags , but that is my opinion ...

I agree were are better than them.

Mancini got his team selection very wrong last night and it cost us.

The last few games have seen us struggle defensively without Vinnie, and Lescott for the last couple.

IMO the biggest problem we've had in the last three games is that for some reason or another Silva has been a passenger, whether that's an injury, just a dip in form or whatever, I don't know. What I do know is that without him we have no spark and ultimately that's what's cost us imo.

IMO he is worried about the mental strength of the team and he is trying to give them an excuse that will boost their self confidence by shouldering the responsibility himself. His best chance of keeping his job is if we perform to our best in the remaining matches. If we win all our matches we win the league.

No. Ranieri built a lot of the Chelsea team, almost won the league then was sacked & Mourinho took over.

He was criticised for making too many changes to players & tactics.

I disagree. Some collapse? Really? On Jan 1st, we were level on points with United in the league, had United at home in the FA Cup and were to play Liverpool in the League Cup, with Porto to come in the Europa League.

The league - we have done really well, but we were always going to lose the odd match here and there but the fact is United have kept winning and picked up more points from some very difficult games, more than any of us could have imagined. We can do nothing about that.

The FA Cup - i believe, if it was 11 v 11 for the whole game instead of just the first 10 mins we would have progressed.
The League Cup - 1st Leg was our worst performance of the season, we were missing too many key players and overall Liverpool deserved to go through.

Europa League - We played well for abut 40mins in the whole tie against Sporting, very disappointing and Mancini and the players need to shoulder the blame.

Btw Mancini has not underestimated opponents, I believe he has said it because 1. to take pressure off players and 2. his English vocab is limited. If we win nothing this season, then so be it but tearing up a blueprint that we can all before us this season with so many great performances and goals etc - removing the manager is not the answer. Frankly if he is removed then in my opinion I would say our chances of winning the league reduce straight away.

I'm glad he said he got it wrong because he fucking well did and its costing us BIG TIME.
We are becoming the nearly team and its not good enough.

If we dont win the prem but we come second in STYLE without anymore bizarre tactics or team selections then I might be swayed to give my support of him for next year, BUT if he continues to FUCK it up then I wouldn't give a shit if he was sacked in the summer.

Will we get 6 more points this season? Home to West Brom and QPR should mean we do. And if that's all we get, it'd be a disaster.

And yet if we get 6 more points, we equal the rags total from last season when they won it. I think that shows how good we've been and also how good the rags have been. Frankly, whoever wins it this season will have deserved it considering the points they will have amassed.

In my opinion I don't think he truly believes it was his fault last night. I think he just said it to take any negativity from the team.

I like the fact that if he spots he has made a mistake he changes it. A lot of managers like our previous one would never have the balls to acknolwedge that he had a mistake never mind taking a player off after 20 minutes like Mancini has.

That being said, I wish he would stop getting it wrong from the start so often.

He's damned if does and damned if he doesnt.

Seems Mancini is the 'In' man on Sky today. I had it on earlier and we were top of the shop for a 5 minute stint about us getting knocked out of he Europa followed by a 2 minute track on 'also' going out United. I've now had it on in the background since 1 o clock and they've had the CL draw, Twitchy, the cricket, F1, more F1 and then another 5 minute stint on us going out of the Europa. Strange though, United's little sequence has disappeared, no Atletico goals or Taggart's bigging them up to win it - nothing, it's disappeared!

Seems we're the big story nowadays. Never thought they'd be reporting us over them who must always be seen?
