He treated the club, teammates and fans with a total lack of respect, his actions were unforgiveable and he would not be back here if he could have helped it but has little choice after any possible deals fell through.

I hope he does not get booed as that could have an adverse effect on the team but i would be far from impressed if he gets a welcoming return.By the sounds of it some people seem happy enough hes back.

Still can't believe some of you will welcome back someone who's said he wants to leave several times, effectively lost us the game in Munich, slagged off the manager, previous chief executive and, through his actions insulted the owner and chairman. Oh and said Manchester was shit and that he wouldn't even come back here on holiday.

I'd rather finish second and still have some pride left, than turn to someone who's done everything possible to fuck us over and say 'please let us love you more, we'll try harder'. Besides, if you can't win a title with a strikeforce of Aguero, Balotelli and Dzeko, a few players need to look at themselves.

Agreed, Tevez coming on in Munich was a desperate attempt to salvage a game we totally fucked up in by giving away goals Millwall or Palace could have scored. If we don't need him now, because we've got Aguero etc, how come we needed him then ?

He's paid a huge fine for what he did & he's worked his balls off since he came back, to try & salvage his future career & end his City career by helping us win the title. Our objectives are now the same. City & Tevez both share the same ambition for this season (albeit for different reasons) & if Tevez is a success, even if we don't win it, it is good news for us, because we get more money for him & can spend it on a top quality replacement OR do a direct swap, rather than having to sell/swap a disgraced, truculant, fatty.

The tactic in Munich was similar to that against Lisbon last week - take off an attacker (Dzeko/AJ) for de Jong and then put on an attacker (Herman/Dzeko). The problem in Munich was that having taken off our attacker the other one then refused to go on. We were therefore 2-0 down without a forward on the pitch. He may not have cost us the game but he cost us any chance of winning it.

As for the Herman love in, there will be people cheering his name when he comes on, people cheering his name if he scores. Wonder what he'd have to do before people would say enough is enough?

Fully agree. I won't boo, but I certainly won't cheer. I haven't cheered his name since his first transfer request and I'm not about to start now. If he scores, I'll cheer the goal, but not when his name is announced as scorer. Sadly starting to think I'm going to be in a very small minority.

perhaps cos that's what he wanted? Free transfer, so he gets a big signing on bonus and even higher wages. Still doesn't mean he needs to play.

He's made 2 league appearances for us this season (according to wiki). If he is going to play, let's hope we keep him below 10 so at least he doesn't get a medal.

I would say he gives us a better chance Blue. The team that scored 5 at spuds and 6 at the swamp couldn`t score 1 at wba, blunderland and swansea. I want to win like everyone else on here, but I can overlook what he`s done as I see the benefit from a business side as well as being prepared to not give a flying how we do it or what others think. There are no morals in football pal and we don`t need to do anything to save football as they should all look after themselves cos they`re all putting the knife in whenever possible about FFP. He`s done his time and paid royally for it.

We were scuppered in that, largely because we couldn't ship him out, so this is the next best thing. Imo, we should never have even entertained relying on Balotelli & Dzeko & I said so. The apparent patch up with Tevez though & his subsequent behaviour deprived us of a striker because oherwise we would have signed one in the summer & if we'd had an exrtra man, the title would be pretty much ours now imo. It's too much to ask of Aguero to be the focal point of our title bid in his 1st season, he needed help other than those two talented weirdos.

However, last season, after the transfer request, I recall him being pretty poor, certainly by his previous standards. Haven't got any stats one way or the other, so it's just from memory unless someone can find them. Who knows which one will turn up when he finally plays.

This is the big gamble now , who s to say that Tevez could maybe make a impact ,think funs will never forgive him and if he can play at hes top now he shuld play but somhow for me this team was wining without him 5 0 , 4 1, 3 0 , 4 1 and play best football in the Leugue and we lost a few games and this looks somhow like we grabing a straw to hang on , yet i stll belive that this team is best team and for most of the season they prove that.the big problem is and i watch yestrday like almost all rags win this season , half of them are poor wins and i keep wonder how long they will have this fuckin luck.

It will not have a little explanatory note stating that City finished with their principles intact nor that City were ethically or morally the better team. It will merely show the final position.

I know the league table will only ever say who won and who lost, however, doesn't mean I want to see that scrote representing my team again. I don't care what the rags/Shearer/Lawrenson or others think, I just don't want him playing for us.

If he comes on tonight, scores and then lifts us his shirt to display a t-shirt emblazoned with 'Manchester is shit and I hate everyone at City' would you still be happy for him to play against Stoke providing he will do it on the pitch?
