Fear not Nick, if this post was made by one of his pals he would have been creaming on it and agreeing whole heartedly.

He's a decent poster but Ted's views are mostly based on who he is [strike]debating[/strike] arguing with and whether he wants to agree/disagree with them. Not the issue in hand.

Hardly a surprise he didn't get service if he offers fuck all movement.
I wasn't at the stadium tonight so I may have missed some movement which wasn't shown in tv... but from what I saw, I did not see one time today when Edin was even trying to find space for himself.

I like Edin but he just has to do more!

If anyone watched the Bayern - Hannover game today, the commentators were talking on and on about after Shaqiri and Dante, Dzeko will be their third and last transfer of the summer. They want to bring someone who can rotate with Gomez.

Apparantly they are prepared to offer 25 mil.

Fuck me, seems Dzeko is an easy target. Pathetic that people would single him out when there were actually far worse players today.

I'm not going to slate any of our players, just a great effort from Stoke.

I'm with Ted on this one.

Hart's kicking looked good in the last 20-30 minutes, because Dzeko got on the end of a lot of those balls. He got us some free kicks, because he was kicked around all game.

He fluffed two headers & his touch was off, but commitment was not lacking today.

Dzeko and Balo were fucking gash. One fell about like a fanny the other cant trap a ball to save his life.

What made it worse tho is while we're stood doing tippy tappy neither of them moved off the spot for the ball and when we did cross neither of them offered a challenge on the keeper. Shit bags.

Balo and Tevez was the answer to start today given Aguero's injury. That shouldn't have been hard work for Mancini, but it was.

Italian tinkering -- looking like the best tactical nous when it comes off, looking like you know fuckall about the basics when you fail. I'm getting a little tired of it to be honest. What's so challenging about starting your best 11 and having a fucking go? This is the time it should be all hands on deck and instead we get a lineup with Dzeko, and Silva in it when he should have paired Tevez up front and given a grafter like Milner a chance to stick his foot in and make a difference in place of Silva. Silva has been shit for weeks and Dzeko has a 30 page thread on mcf.net about how crap he is. Nuf sed.

Hindsight is asshole vision, as they say, and i'm getting sick of referencing it.

Was it a "good point away from home" -- yes in spirit because it was a hard match away, but realistically we CANNOT be satisfied with conventional wisdom at this point. We need to throw hellfire at teams and show the heart of champions.

When will they have the cash ready? Should I start warming the car?

Would they also like about 8 other players who are soft as shit? Boateng's done ok for them, so it must suit their style of play

Don't be such a fucking moron.

I judge each performance on it's merits & don't hold grudges. If Savic has a brilliant game next week, I will acknowledge it even if it means my previous criticisms of him look foolish. Perhaps you just make a one off knee jerk judgement of a player then refuse to acknowledge if he does something different, but I don't.

Dzeko's performance midweek was one which was so bad, he's lucky to get another. Yesterday, he did ok. Not brilliant, and not as good as Peter Crouch, but ok.

Stick it up your arse.

I won't sell him for that price, if you ask me. Bayern are trying to take a piss on us again, after they did with Boateng. Dzeko came here for 27 mil pounds, that's 32 mil euros and they want to pay 25 mil euros for a players that with his mediocre performance, still managed to score a shitload of goals, won a cup and played in Champions League.

They should pay at least the same amount of money.

If it's true then it's looking very much like the best option for both player & club would be to sell. Dzeko is more at home in German football & would probably suit Bayern more as they play with a similar type striker every week & are geared to it.

If he stays at City, he could have a brilliant season next time but if he doesn't, & he plays like this season, we will struggle to get £10 mil for him. If we cash in now, we can replace him with a top quality player for little extra outlay.

I know what i'd do.

I would not sell to that gobby cunt rumenigge at bayern on principle unless it was for a tidy profit.

I still think Dzeko has got plenty of talent and can be a very big player for us if he shows the right application week-in week-out.

I totally agree, but has the penny dropped ? He put the shift in yesterday but will he put the same shift in if we start him at Norwich ? If he does he'll get a hat trick but if he doesn't he could cost us dearly.

This. When our midfield had the ball, he was generally running away or trying his best to be marked. As soon as tevez came on, we saw tevez running into space.
