Balo and Tevez was the answer to start today given Aguero's injury. That shouldn't have been hard work for Mancini, but it was.
Italian tinkering -- looking like the best tactical nous when it comes off, looking like you know fuckall about the basics when you fail. I'm getting a little tired of it to be honest. What's so challenging about starting your best 11 and having a fucking go? This is the time it should be all hands on deck and instead we get a lineup with Dzeko, and Silva in it when he should have paired Tevez up front and given a grafter like Milner a chance to stick his foot in and make a difference in place of Silva. Silva has been shit for weeks and Dzeko has a 30 page thread on mcf.net about how crap he is. Nuf sed.
Hindsight is asshole vision, as they say, and i'm getting sick of referencing it.
Was it a "good point away from home" -- yes in spirit because it was a hard match away, but realistically we CANNOT be satisfied with conventional wisdom at this point. We need to throw hellfire at teams and show the heart of champions.
