What qualifies as young? If 23 is young then Micah should have made the young players list. Not sure what the age cut off is though. Nice to see so many of ours being recognised by the other players.

who are the nominees amongst the divers/cheaters category?

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

Yeah, i think the age limit is actually 24, im sure ive read it somewhere. I think its silly to refer to a player over the age of 21, as a 'young' player in the modern game.

All worthy nominees on both lists other than Scott Parker (who I do rate) and Oxlaide-Chamberlain (who simply hasn't played enough). From those lists it's obviously between Silva, RVP and Slaphead Shrek for the biggie and the other should go to Serge. That said, I can't believe Scott Sinclair and Sczesny aren't on the YPOTY list.

If your good enough for the top level your usually playing there before the age of 23.

If your a late bloomer, surely that will have you in the 'player' category rather than the 'young player' category.

Of all the things to get my dander up....

Dempsey (16 goals in the Prem, from midfield, for Fulham) and Krul should both be in there, imo. Silva, Parker, Sturridge and Oxlade-Chamberlain would all be less deserving than those two.

Still, strange to see these lists so City-heavy. It's been a great season.

But you couldn't have a list that read like this - hart, vorm, krul, van persie, Dempsey, Ba.
