It is a way of ensuring that they are seen to help incentivise the lowest levels of football which is entirely reliant on volunteers and income generated by the clubs hard work.
Difficult to balance between the clubs fans and the people who devote their time, effort and money into grass roots club down the road I suppose.

So..............how would one go about getting a job at the FA?

If the FA truly cared about the grass roots game and the future of English football they would instead have invested heavily in child/youth/grass roots development, on producing coaches that promote technique and tactics and referee programmes to ensure we produce fit, competent and consistent refs.
But they decided spunking 800 million on a national stadium in Lonon, and ensuring fans of teams that play there are restricted in attending was a better idea.
The F.A are not fit for purpose.

When the 1st lot have fucked off home early (as they tend to do)....let the next lot in. Why leave all those empty seats?
