Barca were VERY unlucky against chelsea, if that pen had gone in it would have ended up being 5 or 6. Anyone who gets him will get a world class coach who knows how to play and teach the beautiful game. If they invest time and money, they will come good.
There are many who want him to manage the national team but it will never happen because he is a [strike]catalonian[/strike] through and through and the spanish fa dont like that.

He's Catalan WW and they love him from being a player to one of their own as manager and winning everything in sight. But that doesn't make them not realise there are limits to anything. I have chatted at length with long time Barca Socios, made the arguements I make above and they agree, Some have even looked ashen faced as they see what I am saying ring true to what they have seen on the pitch and know under Pep, but had never put two and two together. Let's see what they do, but there will be calls for Pep to reverse the policy of throwing out players who wouldn't play the barca system. He alone did that, no-one forced him. Now they have a brilliant team with one glaring fault, no other way of playing if it doesn't work, not even anyone they can bring off the bench in emergency.
I used to like barca a lot, but when they started playing like automotons I found myself just insanely bored watching and soon could not watch them at all, you can say that's my problem and it is but it also flags up that they are possibly missing something, games like Wed make it concrete and not just my interest.
They need to bring in some non conformist players, I believe that Pep Guardiola is dead set against that. Maybe he will now change his mind, he will certainly come up against a lot of pressure to do so from within the club and the Socios. If there is one thing they do not like nowadays is losing.

They need to be very careful what they wish for. A change in mentality to the best team I have seen will see them fall apart imo. They have special players who can adapt but changing the way they play is wrong when its so right.

I find it hard to disagree with that. They looked shite this week. Messi has too many crap piles, as per this week. Not nearly in Maradona's class. Not even close.
