Haha. So, 'arry gave everything up after the 2-3 with us, for the manager spot.

Double haha to that bent idiot.

But i really wonder what happend. I was 100 % convinced that the downfall of Spuds was caused by his "secret contract" with the FA.

I wouldn't mind Woy as manager.

I just wish he'd learn to enjoy himself more. At times he looks on the brink of a nervous breakdown during games, I fear the England job will tip him over the edge.

Good (apart from Ashley Cole who we could still do with).

I bet all those scouse players who put the boot in when he got sacked are feeling a bit sick now.

Everyone knows that when Hodgson gets the job Paul Konchesy will replace Ashley Cole.

Hodgson's contract is up at the end of June.

Perhaps this is still a short term appointment to see them through the Euros. Probably no compensation to West Brom and he may even be back there for the start of the season depending on how well England do at the finals.

The England job is a poisoned chalice right now. Very little real quality coming through in the next few years, the squad needs a complete overhaul and rebuilding from the ground up. Is Hodgson really the man to do that, to manage the development of the facilities at Burton and take Team England into the next decade and beyond? I think he makes a decent stop gap but is not the long term solution.

Cant help thinking there is more to this than meets the eye and that there is someone else waiting in the wings.

RE: Young talent coming through.

Richards, Rodwell, Walker, Hart, Oxlaide-Chamberlain, Sturridge and Wilshere are all young players who are, or have the potential to be, excellent internationals. I'm sure there are loads more - that's just off the top of my head. Welbeck isn't as bad as some on here make out and should definitely go to the Euros. We could still do with a second top-quality striker along with Shrek, though. I don't know what's happened since the mid-late 90s when we had loads. At one time we could call upon: Shearer, Sheringham, Owen, Ferdinand, Wright, Fowler and a few others. Now there's only Rooney and Bent who are capable of 20-goal seasons. Why?

Starting his manargial career in Sweden with Halmstad BK, and that is sort of Norwich City or summat to you, making them champions for the first time way back in 76.
Had short spells with Oddevold (Rochdale or Bury) and Orebro(some Midland club)
Malmo FF(Thats a "big four team") for several seasons where he and the team florished.
Went to Switzerland and Italy and various apointments. Top man.
Always a polite and gentle man and his Swedish is impecable.
Good Luck IF true.

As a Swede, I'm gutted. I fancied our chances against an England in chaos (i.e. with Pearce or Redknapp at the helm), but I think Roy is the best available option for you right now He also knows Swedish football inside out.

SkySports News are reporting that Harry Redknapp 'masterminded a 2-0 victory at home to Blackburn'.

That's good enough for me, pay him whatever it takes for him to lead England to glory!

Fucking mastermind...

I wonder if the FA have made an agreement with Redknapp but balked at the compensation sum Spurs are asking for and have now turned to trifle face to either flush them out of give them the big FU?

Theres more to this than meets the eye
