Also, there will be injuries, suspensions and loss of form as always. We will be challenging on four fronts. There could easily be over 60 games next season. Asking anyone but Hart maybe to start all of them would be stupid and irresponsible.
I'm not sure about Silva. He offers great movement and is fantastic on the ball but seems weak in the air. I'm not sure how he'd cope in league. Would be brilliant addition for CL though.

You mean like we need four strikers because there has to be squad rotation?

Also, Thiago Silva (from what i've heard) was the main target for Barcelona, this summer, after Shakira took away Pique's legs.

Mate, I think nobody's questioning his skill and great positioning sense and he will certainly work wonders alongside Vinnie, but NQDP is very much spot on when arguing his aerial strenght: not saying he is weak, but I wouldn't feel comfortable with him going at places like Stoke.
You might counter that we can use another option when facing that kind of opposition but can You cite me a tie in English football where the aerial strenght isn't a must?
Also You are spot on with AC Milan trying to win the lottery with a single sale, but I would never pay half of that demand for any CB of the world.
Last but not least, I stick with my personal view that, if City can acquire Javi Martinez, we will have a top class back-up for two roles, with the additional benefit of not throwing pressure on Joleon Lescott.
p.s.: if rumours are true, Bobby seems not to share my same opinion, tho... :-)

As far as i know, Milan are paying over 12 milion to Ibra, Robinho and Pato. Pato has been shit since god knows when, so they really did a big mistake not allowing him to leave to PSG last winter, so now they are trying to reduce the salary wages to reconstruct the team.
I like Thiago, he is quality, but i wouldn't change for nothing in the world, the pair Lesco - Vinnie. Imho, those two, at the moment, are the best CD duo in the world, there is absolutelly no couple better than them. I am 100 % with you on "i can't trust him at Stoke or Everton", so i find somehow this transfer a bit odd. If the rumor is true, then Bobby wants to bring him to play with Vinnie, while Lesco will become the replacement for them, while Savic will pack his bags (i hope on a loan). I would rather use Lesco and Vinnie a couple of years more and bring someone who knows the premiership very well (Vermaleen, Heitinga, etc).

Subotic for me. Already a top defender and four years younger than Silva at 24.
Whatever happens we do need a top class centre half. Kolo will be off, Savic needs to be loaned out and we can't afford to leave ourselves as exposed as we were last Jan/Feb.
Subotic for me as well mate.

Mancini:“I went to the Milan offices yesterday purely for a courtesy call. Besides which, it was Galliani who called and asked me to do so,” Mancini told news agency ANSA.
“Therefore, there are no transfer moves in the pipeline. I was in Milan for personal reasons and Galliani asked to meet up.
“I was there for 10 minutes and I certainly did not make a proposal for Thiago Silva, nor did I offer Mario Balotelli or Carlos Tevez to Milan.”
Just tell that frog faced little cunt and his slimey, corrupt, bullshitting, lowlife club to fucking do one.
We don't want to buy anyone from them, we don't want to sell anyone to them JUST FUCK OFF, YOU HORRIBLE SLIMEY BUNCH OF FUCKING DOUBLE DEALING WANKERS.
