Midfielder keen on City move
Manchester City, 12:23, June 23, 2012
Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi admits he would welcome a move to England, amid reported interest from Manchester City.
City boss Roberto Mancini has been linked with a swoop for the combative midfielder in the past and the Italian coach has previously voiced his admiration of De Rossi.
However, Mancini indicated that he thought De Rossi would be keen to remain with boyhood club Roma, but it would seem as if the 28-year-old Italy international is ready to depart Serie A.
The defensive midfielder has revealed he has been approached by English sides and De Rossi admits he would welcome a move to the Premier League.
"I have received many offers from English football. And I must say that I feel attraction for it," said De Rossi.
"I like English football very much. I think now it's probably more interesting than Italian football.
"There are lots of outstanding and talented players, as is the case for Spain as well."

I think we've already signed him. Would be good to see what is announced after the Euro's. De Rossi would be an awesome contribution to the squad!
