Of course my little lad found it yesterday and brought me one from 2002/03 season saying "this this this" (which means I am supposed to read it to him). Being in English we settled for watching pics (Foe, Goat scoring against rags in 3-1 derby, BWP and Croft for Academy etc). Anyway, we had personal sponsor program called "adoptaplayer". Some of the names got me thinking how much we have moved on in only ten years. Some players were sponsored by individual families and others were clearly small time local businesses. Could you imagine David Silva being sponsored by "The Ogden Family from Preston" or Kompany by "Apollo sunbeds".
Not bad times at all but really something to think about.

Funny Jess says why don't we have the next one back and I reply oh that's the worst season ever, entertainment wise. Think I'll buy it now ghosts are gone.
Care to guess which year?

I just thought that was drab & dull without the full, City, midboggling, belief beggaring, tragi-comedy chaos that Swales used to specialise in.
