can anyone be so kind to advise me on how dippers were so badly hammered, as result seems to suggest, even considering the senting off?

If dippers had scored the first goal it could've been 3-0 the other way. Suddenly Gera scored with a thunderbolt and they went into HT 1 up. when Agger was sent off Liverpool just.. seemed to give up. even tho the first penalty was missed they never got back into the game again and as they pushed on there was lots of space for baggies to exploit. that's how I saw it
The Italian Job wrote:I doubt Gerrard is going to internalize the patient simple passing game Rodgers is working on. He was arguably the most uncomfortable Liverpool player out there today & it's hardly surprising given his natural style of play. He always looked like he wanted to just go for it, when he had the ball. He had to restrain himself to not just run with the ball & whack it. He had the worst passing accuracy as well (82%), even worse than Borini who was rubbish on the whole, while Allen had the highest (96%), even with the most long balls (all accurate).

I've just seen it & I can't believe they are complaining about it.
Agger was fucking diabolical; you DO NOT defend that situation like that. Utter shite. Why the fuck Bob wants him, I've no idea.

If you see the incident from an earlier starting point you see Skrtel falling while out of position which causes the hole in defence that Agger has to try and cover, I'd say skrtel is as much to blame for the situation as Agger (not Skrtel's fault Agger shoved him in the back obviously).

Sure, and if Agger had attempted to play the ball, I'd have had sympathy for him (like Kompany's red). His only hope was a totally blind ref or to do it properly outside the box. There were too many defenders being knocked on their arse yesterday.
