I can understand why some think him a legend but he's a long way away from that IMO

He is a club legend, in an era where seeing out your initial contract and signing a new one is remarkable, he had 9 years at the club, 352 games, club captain, POTY 4 times and worked under 5 different managers.

I think Legend is quite apt.

I do too. He gave everything he had when sober and fans realised this and respected him for it.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

King Richard the Lionheart.
Loved Dunnie
there were days when he was all that was worth turning up for.
Really badly let down when we shipped him out.
Don't know what people think a great centre half should be but stalwart is a good start and stalwart he was
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

I agree, he should not have been sold when he was it was sheer madness at the time.

I don't know about madness, but I think he should have been given the opportunity to fight for his place. If he was happy to stay 3rd-4th choice then I couldn't see that as bad news for us, considering our 4th choices in after him were Boateng and Savic. (BTW, called both of them before they signed. Maybe Bobby needs to hire me)
