Never thought id be saying it but at the mo id be dropping silva at the moment and pushing yaya forward. Garcia and barry/rodders/ milner in the middle

Yaya is our best player at the moment, we need him going forward

It's not a case of getting on his back, it's just about being honest. At the moment he's pretty shit & that's the truth.

We could have either started the game without him or given him extra protection by playing Rodwell. It was always likely to be in midfield where the battle v Arsenal was won & lost & with Silva not being on top form, Yaya not enjoying tracking back & Garcia being new, it doesn't need a genius to realise that playing a winger from kick off, leaving Garcia as the main anchor man, could be a mistake.

Barry should be fit from now on, so Garcia could be eased in rather than forced in.

If we are being honest then maybe shit in 2 but good on his debut.

As for not getting on his back, whilst you might not be just look at the title of the thread

Big big improvement needed.

Credit for saying it out loud. After his debut I came to this site and people were raving about him. I thought he was pretty horrible apart from set pieces. Needs time obviously but he looks really lazy not up tot he tempo in Premier League.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Did you allow yourself a small cheer when Aguero's goal clinched the title?

Garcia did his job well for me he fed David Silva who proceeded to turn over the ball to them, that was the pattern 2nd half. No fault of his we could not find a man when we at times were 4 against 2, shit pass and Garcia is beyond his man or the ball due to a shit pass. One interception was superb and saw Diaby hooked.

He was following the ball rather than seeing the danger & he was sometimes leaving the centre of the pitch to Arsenal. Sometimes just occupying an area is better than rushing out, as with the shot leading to the corner from which Arsenal scored.

Fucking knee-jerks.
He's played 3 games and moved from (effectively) Championship or Lge1 to the Premiership - might not be the best but certainly the fastest league in the world, into a new team with no preseason, new country, new language, new team-mates. How confident would you be going to work for one of the world's biggest companies in Portugal?
Might turn out to be brilliant, might not, but he's got a city shirt on so can we at least give him our support until Xmas and evaluate then?

Over reaction Ted, we had no pressure on the ball 1st Half, He is almost covering the whole, centre centre areas, which the manager saw, Silva was poor which means loss of the ball more chasing to get it back, he is gonna be a top signing.

No, no,no don’t say that, you can’t give people time. You can’t say that he has hardly trained since he got here, probably had a full weeks training tops, you can’t say that he hasn’t moved to a new country, probably hasn’t moved into a new house yet, no you must slag him off and ignore the fact we have played Stoke at their gaff who we have never beaten there in the prem and are tough opposition, Real Madrid, who are probably one of the best teams in the world at their gaff ( how often do they lose there?) and Arsenal who are flying at the moment and will be there abouts come the end of the season.

I’m not blind and can see something isn’t quite right at the moment but I’m willing to give Garcia and the rest of the lads time to put it right. Remember we are Champions and there to be shot at. Being Champs brings a whole different types of pressures from what we saw last season and I think some of that pressure is coming from us the fans, I think some are expecting a carbon copy start to last season. Teams are desperate for the scalp of the Champions, look at Arsenal yesterday basking in their 1-1 win. Let’s try and relax and leave it at least another 10 games before the panic sets in.

He was still doing the same 2nd half & not covering his areas. Rodwell by contrast, stuck to his job like shit to a blanket.

I too think he will be a top player but in the last 2 games, he has got half the stuff he's done wrong.

Silva btw played 5 key passes in the game compared to Cazorla's 2.

Hopefully this thread will still be dug up on a regular basis in 12 months time for people to point out how brilliant Garcia is and what an idiot the OP is.

He may have been below par but he still played more than twice as many key passes as Cazorla, who some people thought had a great game.
