It's not a case of getting on his back, it's just about being honest. At the moment he's pretty shit & that's the truth. We could have either started the game without him or given him extra protection by playing Rodwell. It was always likely to be in midfield where the battle v Arsenal was won & lost & with Silva not being on top form, Yaya not enjoying tracking back & Garcia being new, it doesn't need a genius to realise that playing a winger from kick off, leaving Garcia as the main anchor man, could be a mistake.
Barry should be fit from now on, so Garcia could be eased in rather than forced in

Big big improvement needed.

Credit for saying it out loud. After his debut I came to this site and people were raving about him. I thought he was pretty horrible apart from set pieces. Needs time obviously but he looks really lazy not up tot he tempo in Premier League.

Did you allow yourself a small cheer when Aguero's goal clinched the title?

No fault of his we could not find a man when we at times were 4 against 2, shit pass and Garcia is beyond his man or the ball due to a shit pass. One interception was superb and saw Diaby hooked.

He was following the ball rather than seeing the danger & he was sometimes leaving the centre of the pitch to Arsenal. Sometimes just occupying an area is better than rushing out, as with the shot leading to the corner from which Arsenal scored.

He's played 3 games and moved from (effectively) Championship or Lge1 to the Premiership - might not be the best but certainly the fastest league in the world, into a new team with no preseason, new country, new language, new team-mates. How confident would you be going to work for one of the world's biggest companies in Portugal?
Might turn out to be brilliant, might not, but he's got a city shirt on so can we at least give him our support until Xmas and evaluate then?

Over reaction Ted, we had no pressure on the ball 1st Half, He is almost covering the whole, centre centre areas, which the manager saw, Silva was poor which means loss of the ball more chasing to get it back, he is gonna be a top signing.

Hopefully this thread will still be dug up on a regular basis in 12 months time for people to point out how brilliant Garcia is and what an idiot the OP is.

He was still doing the same 2nd half & not covering his areas. Rodwell by contrast, stuck to his job like shit to a blanket.
I too think he will be a top player but in the last 2 games, he has got half the stuff he's done wrong.
Silva btw played 5 key passes in the game compared to Cazorla's 2.
