At this stage Howard Webb should be deemed unfit to officiate a United fixture ever again.
He has so much history for blatant favouritisim for them.
18% of all the penaltys he has awarded in his career have been in favour of United. That is a worryingly large percentage, it can't just be a coincedence.

But who's going to deem him unfit to officiate? Certainly not Mike Riley, a former referee who had his own fair share of dealings (usually from the bottom of the pack) with United back in the day.
He's just a puppet, or should I say, someone's wank glove to be more apt.

Exactly Beefy, nobody is and thats the problem.Along with Reilly they have David Gill the CEO of United on the Fa board, it just stinks to high heaven. You know what Webb probably got a pat on the back for it all.Not just blind to elbows but also to balls crossing the goal line, quite amazing really.
It sickens me that they can hide behind the argument that if the referee did not see the incident they can not act upon it afterwards. It's a ruling that allows them do whatever they want and favour whom ever they wish.

There are 3 difficult games (Stoke, Chesea and Arsenal) that will be shown to the public and how would it detract from the viewing public not to see such an accomplished player like Robin Van Persie.
In fact, it would be affront to those watching the game not to be able to see one of the Premier Leagues most prolific strikers. It cannot happen, I don't want it to happen, and hopefully the FA will come to the correct decision.
Yours,
David Gill

In their determination to support the scum they hide the blatant corrupt persie decision amongst others - they are fooling nobody - but it goes so deep I guess that they do not care
