Milner did his best to get back and make up for Kompany's mistake, but Long was always going to get there ahead of him as he had the momentum going forward, whereas Milner had to turn around and then chase after the ball (plus Milner isn't the fastest player around anyway!).
Hopefully Kompany apologised to him in the changing room.
The big shame though is that we now lose Milner for 3 league games. He should be starting for us every week in my opinion. I hope Mancini keeps him in the side for the Ajax game in midweek.
