You've said it yourself, why would he go down if he was clear through on goal? The answer, he wouldn't unless there was contact.
Also, isn't Taggart the main proponent of making the referee make the decision as in the penalty's unfairly earned by them last season?
We could all see the 'terrible decisions' line coming out though. Just to prove that it all evens itself out, eh?

4 points in feckin October... who gives a shit? 8 points in April's where it's at.
Chelsea never were a bigger threat than Utd & I pity anyone who still can't see that after today's events.
Bridge'srightfoot wrote:I disagree. Chelsea are a MUCH better side than United and had anyone half decent reffed it they would have won. I honestly think Chelsea have looked shit hot so far, far better than either us or United and I see them as genuine challengers. Look on the brightside, it opens up the table now and brings us much closer to the top and also breaks Chelsea's momentum.

But encourages the rags to push on knowing they are untouchable because no matter how far they fall and how bad they play or how much better the opposition they will be given 3 points and probably another title.

I get what you're saying.I guess I'm just trying to put some sort of positive spin on it. But at least we've closed the gap on Chelsea now. We can't do anything about the refs, the only thing we can control are our own performances.
Unfortunately though the rags in Van P have a real world class quality player who will score a shit load of goals. Just wish we'd got there first.

Some on here would have you believe were better off with Balo and Edin.

I was so furious during this fucking mess of a game that I wanted someone to break his leg.
I also wanted to punch Clattenburg in the face. And Rafael. And Rooney. And Ferguson. And Hernandez. And Van Persie the slimey fucker. Fuck him.
I still do.
