Blaming the ref is embarrassing. It should have been a free kick but that doesn't mean a totally half arsed speculative effort should beat England's No1 keeper, or that we can't break down a defence that didn't even play that well.

When we beat the rags at our place under Sven, we defended 10 times better than that & had to be that good to survive. Sunderland only needed to be average. That is the problem.

Spot on Ted. You could see that we weren't going to score at all at about the 60 min mark - that game was like a really shit panto where you know how it ends. Blaming the ref hides our many problems - we got away with it on saturday, not today.

We did cause we won the league. I answered your question but you were too busy ranting to notice that. And don't give me the cushion thing. The reason we were initiallm on top and the reason we clawed back title is because the players and the manager have proven that they are capable of doing what they need to do to win the title.

They're not doing it now though. That's a problem. You can't solve that by asking leading questions. I wish mancini could solve this problem but I don't think he'll do it this season.

IM NOT TALKING ABOUT WHETHER WE WON THE LEAGUE OR NOT. I'M NOT EVEN INTERESTED IN AN ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION.

I think we have fucked that up but nothing will please me more than to be wrong but I'M NOT ASKING THAT QUESTION.

Mancini will probably carry on with plan A though as he hasnt got any other fuckign plan....fucking embarrassing it is.

I remember people here saying they didnt want Van Persie. I don't care if he's a cunt, if we had him it would be us 7 points clear rather than them.

Yes it is. He's carried them this season, just like he carried Arsenal last season. He's exactly the type of player we need, someone who can create something out of nothing.

We should have gone all out for him. Don't care about his age etc, he would have improved us and instead has improved them. They want fuck up a 2nd time in 2 seasons and I fee sick about that. Too many players who have rested on their laurels and too many average players in the squad. We have gone backwards big time and I don't know how we are going to move on. Really gutted this evening.

How many goals has he scored from nothing, and I mean purely from his own skill and ability?

And how many goals has he scored because the team delivered the ball to a point where he had a scoring opportunity?

Serious question, because reading past week, sunderland this week, and many of the other games this season we have been laboured in, would not have seen a single ball delivered into a position for RVP to prosper.

RVP would have been just as useless as Aguero, Tevez, Dzeko and balotelli have been for the majority of this season without the service United give him

Same goes for Rooney

Good point , We have three of the best strikers in the prem and Balo :) . Imo Its the slow build up play that is causing us the problems Any striker in the world would struggle if the opposition have time to put a couple of men on them every time they turn around Somebody like Ronaldo who is prepared to speed things up and run at defenders will free up space for the strikers Bale would do the same thing . This slow methodical jab jab jab drives me insane sometimes you just need the Ali windmill knockout punch .
