We'd be ace for three years and then he'd fuck off and set us back five. He'd sign a load of 28 year-olds on hefty contracts with no resale potential, just as he did at Chelsea and Inter.
No thanks. Plus he's an utter minge.
If you aint noticed that's what Mancini is gonna leave behind.
That's the one thing that puts me off dumping him, it will be expensive to shift some of the shit we have on big wages.

Piccs, serious question mate. Who is this shit we have?

Players who will be difficult to shift, on big money, who aren't doing it. Off the top of me head.
Nasri

Rodwell
Sinclair
Milner
Dzeko

Is Kolo gone this summer?

Do you not think that if we get a new manager, they will be able to work with these.
Dzeko is our top scorer and has never been played in the right system for his strengths, milner has been exceptional these last few weeks and has the odd off day, there is time for the others to come good under a manager who makes an attempt to mould the system to the players he has, not the other way round.

I think "exceptional" is perhaps stretching it a bit when talking of Milner. But it's about opinions.
I will certainly take your point about Dzeko and maybe one or two others being possibly better employed in a different system.
I think Barry needs to be shifted on too in all honesty. I know some wank over him, and I do see why they enthuse over certain aspects of his play, but I believe he is a big part of the reason we are so slow and unadventurous going forward. He brings little to the attacking table.

For starters, Jose Mourinho is employed by Real Madrid. You don't just go and steal Real's manager do you?
Someone said Rogers, I thought that was a joke but it actually got some responses. He is managing Liverpool team that cost hundreds of millions to put together as well and what does he have to show for it? 9 points behind Champion's League spot and just got kicked out of FA Cup by fucking Oldham Athletic. It's tragic that someone would even mention him.
So who else? Pep's gone to Munich (I predict he will fail there by the way) and then we got long list of Chelsea rejects. As a matter of fact Roberto Di Matteo is one of the few that would make any sense but can anyone say that he is better manager than Mancini?
Piccsnumberoneblue wrote:Its a shit argument to say that because you can't think of anybody to replace him, we stick with a failing manager.
Of course we can find one manager in the wide wide world of football with the opportunity and cash we can offer.

Nasri - I don't think he's shit but he hasn't lived up to expectation.
Garcia - Why would we get rid so quickly. He's been up and down for me, one of the last minute signings.
Rodwell - I always thought he was quality at Everton and expecting him to come good here. Worrying injury problems though.
Sinclair - Again, why get rid so early. I actually like Sinclair from seeing him previously and find it frustrating he doesn't get a shout.
Milner - Are you serious, this is MCF.nets poster boy.
Dzeko - A quality striker in the right set-up but I think he'll be gone at the end of the season.
Kolarov - Non-plussed.
Maicon - Brought in as back-up and also to change the formation. Short-term contract and on the cheap. Brings experience.
Is Kolo gone this summer? Sure is, as is RSC and Bridge. We may even buy some decent players with the money saved.

Ah, because we were shit once upon a time, makes this situation ok for us to be bent over and take it up the ricker like last night?
Glad you cleared that up, I cant get on with my Sunday now in a cheery mood
Calling for the manager's head and saying that you've never been so disgusted is beyond pathetic. Who are we, Chelsea? Liverpool?
We've always been known for our perspective, patience and sense of humour. Plenty of posters on here are seriously lacking in all three departments.
The league has gone this year, but the FA Cup hasn't. And I'm convinced we'll come back stronger next year. So long as we don't panic and hire a bell-end like Mourinho, that is.

Ted - ok, say for instance in the summer, we sack Mancini and replace him with Jose. Will people want Mourinhio sacked if we finish 2nd or 3rd and don't win a trophy? What I mean is I do not want us to be a Chelsea or a Real Madrid model where we constantly have upheaval in the manager's office. I would like us to stick with a manager who has a lot of credit in the bank in managerial terms, through the good and bad times.
This same questions applies to Piccs.
