I ask myself what might Jack have that separates him from the likes of Sidwell, Jenas, Cattermole, Henderson, Shelvey, etc

I have failed to come up with an answer, perhaps I'm asking myself the wrong question.

There's a fine line between any of those and a K#%ne, Vieira, de Rossi etc. A Skoda and a Bentley both do the same job, but I know which I'd prefer. No idea which one Rodwell will turn out to be, but it's harsh to be critical for someone for being athletic.

Rodwell is a bit better at everything than Sidwell, & Henderson & a lot better at everything than the others. Even if he never plays another game for City, he's better than them.

Henderson is a bit of a strange one tbf as he looked like he was about to become a footballer, then moved to Liverpool & turned into Cattermole.

A big difference I noticed between Rodders and Gazbaz is that when Rodwell went forward he'd join the frontline of the attack. When Gazbaz goes forward he occupies the second line of attack.

I wonder if those were Rodders' instructions or that was just his natural instinct? Perhaps it's Gazbaz instinct to sweep up, hence the second line of attack.

has the potential to be our phil jones but a bit less world class.
Berbatov wins golden boot, spends following season on the bench while his team loses title on goal difference. Well played, Fergie.

Absolutely gutted for him. He looked devastated last night

I know its hindsight but i dont think he should of started last night, we have absolutely no need to rush him back, especially against the likes of villa. Should of been a completely staggered comeback imo. Then again im not a physio lol

I'm absolutely gutted too, both for him & for us, as he is the only midfielder we have who can get on the end of a cross, make runs ahead of the forwards etc & still get a tackle in. I don't think Bob has rushed him back though. It's just terribly unfortunate.

4 weeks out so could be worse for a talented player like Jack a bit of luck needed.
