GIBRALTAR? What the hell.

Who's next? The Vatican with the Pope as a manager?

lol hahahahahahahaha
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

It's all just land mass seperated by historical man-made boundries, natural geographical boarders or rivers, lakes and oceans.

The real debate here is why we just can't all get along as one team and learn to love.

I'd chuck Estonia in alongside those 3, possibly Iceland, the Faroes and Wales, too. I think pretty much the worst 12 UEFA nations should fight it out for 4 places in the qualifiers, giving each group an even 5 teams, and each of the 12 teams a realistic chance of qualifying for the qualifiers.

1 Switzerland 5 3 2 0 7-1 11
2 Iceland 5 3 0 2 6-5 9
3 Albania 5 3 0 2 6-5 9
4 Norway 5 2 1 2 6-6 7
5 Cyprus 5 1 1 3 4-8 4
6 Slovenia 5 1 0 4 4-8 3

Which is exactly why I would give those teams a more-than-fair chance to qualify for the main tournament, and not have something ridiculous like 7 teams vying for 1 slot...

So something like preliminary cup 4 nations go in last pots

Yes, exactly.
The other benefit of this for the teams that go out is that they can spend the time and money after being eliminated upon squad and youth development and in playing friendlies, both against the other teams eliminated and against teams from other confederations with tiered systems (finances and general national interest in football permitting, of course).

Only problem is who ever give that idea lose votes so that will never come to be.

If anyone saw Neymar in action last night...well if he'd been wearing a City shirt the match thread would have been interesting.

I believe barton tweeted something like "neymar is the justin beiber of football. Good on the old youtube but can't piss in real life"

Something along those lines anyway.

Both are cunts if you ask me. Then again, everyone is at the minute!

In the Italy game, I thought he showed signs that he could actually have the neccessary attitude to play over here, but last night Hulk came on as sub & looked like a disciplined & intelligent footballer after watching Neymar.
