to be fair you kinda have do to something bold to matter, and it's about as bold as it might get within reason.
Appointing Hughes or RDM would have been much safer in theory, but i'm not convinced they would have done anything more than the last two, so...why the fuck not? Not the first and won't be the last fascist managing a team in the Prem i'd guess.
cheers

I still quite rate MoN, as a decent manager, despite this failure and his less than pleasant attitude towards City.

Agreed. Also have a small amount of respect for him for admitting his views (unlike quite a few other 'lefties' I know, I actually believe in freedom of speech and beliefs), no matter how abhorrent they may be. It's surely better than being a closeted fascist or racist, too, no?

Very much sensed and agreed. Tough one, though.

Maybe Di Canio is a 'fascist' in the same way that ferguson is a 'socialist'. In ferguson's case, that means ditching the idea of the redistribution of wealth by having a part of your salary paid to you as if you were a company. In Di Canio's case, it may be that rather than acting in accordance with what's best for the state (no matter what), he acts in his own self-interest. Just a thought.

I may agree as well, if I hadn't being watching and listening the twat during his Lazio career.
But let's take it as wisely suggest by Sparty.

I would have thought Mr Miliband and his people were in favour of freedom of opinion in a democrary. Otherwise surely that makes him the Fascist, or Stalinist, as the case may be?
