He's done more than most in the game and was brought into the United hierarchy just before they took the newly found Premier League by storm. He then comes back to us and the revolution starts all over again.
It's well documented about his fall-out with Taggart and is it any coincidence that we have them over regularly?
Just wondered what people thought of Brian Kidd, on a personal and professional basis.

Does Doug see more of him at training? Perhaps he is more of a man manager off the pitch, something that Bobby apparently isn't so good at according to some players?

Platt speaks fluent Italian which is why he is the mouthpiece on match days. When Bob is frustrated and shouting in italian platt is able to translate and get the message over easier. Kidd for me is more a coach for the training pitch, supportive and knowledgeable but less of a leader which is why he failed in management

I remember reading something a few years back where it said Taggart slaughtered Kidd, referring to his time as a manager. Something also came out that Kiddo questioned Taggart and that's why he was moved on.
So much for Taggart being this philanthropic person towards all managers. Seems to me he only does it when it suits his needs, much like the call to newly promoted Cardiff manager Malky Mackay. I wonder what words of advice he gave him?

They bring trophies.
Beefymcfc wrote:True again but Yaya's early card detracted from his game. An ealry yellow prevents the man from giving is all and sometimes he needs to dull it down.

From where I was sat the yellow card seemed extremely harsh. Having not seen a replay of the incident, was it deserved?
