If Barca appointed him, I really wouldn't be scared.
He is average.
We are making a mistake.

That's precisely it. It's possible that he learned from his fuck up with Real and has all of the sudden learned how to make squad assembled with top dollar into functioning TEAM but i think this time next year when we are replacing him with some other puppet he will be moaning the exact same thing as he did when he was appointed in Madrid and got Tranny, Alonso and Benzema (who he couldn't use AT ALL). He didn't get the right kind of players.
He will take us further in Champion's League though. Maybe even quarterfinals. And that's the most important competition thre is for these new breed of fans.

His "fuck up" with Real??
Listen, I'm not saying this guy is definitely going to be a success if he comes, but that statement is bordering on simple.

The straight fact is that we have no manager. We THINK we have a replacement with Pellegrini but City have issued no statement and Pellegrini himself has denied it.

Would you agree that not winning a trophy with club like Real should always be considered failure? I would. And apparently people in Real Madrid organization agreed so. Pretty simply innit? People were saying the exact same thing about Mancini with us this season and he didn't get Ronaldo, Alonso and Benzema delivered to him, now did he. Pretty simplistic but clearly the nature of the beast in big clubs these days.
Don't get me wrong by the way, I will give this guy fair crack at the whip, I'm just saying that he has been in this situation before and failed to meet the expectations. That is not matter of opinion but a fact.

He had half the team arrive in one go mate and they were one classico away from beating one of the best teams ever to the league. That is not a fuck up.
A fuck up is something like what Mancini did this season, when we were supposed to kick on and regressed.

Would you not consider not landing a trophy with our multi million ££ squad a failure and giving up the title like that?? I would.
Yet you seem to thing we are making a big mistake.
Original Dub wrote:Maybe his footballing philosophy and attitude fits better with the barca boys. Actually, that can't be a maybe, it's a definite.
Couple that with the fact that he apparently gets the best out of his players once he and they have had time, whereas our guy seemed to be on a mission to make sure not one player liked him by the time he was done with them.
That can be enough sometimes and it looks like it is in this case.

How does it look so? Pellegrini hasn't done anything, good or bad, for us yet. He has not even signed yet!!!

I realise that.
I also realise these barca boys don't sign someone and then have a look at how they fit with their own ideas. They have studied him for years and are obviously quite confident that he is a far better fit for them than Bob was.
That isn't my opinion, because I don't really know the chap. But we're not talking about my opinion.

Like I said earlier, I think that's the main reason for Mancini getting sack rather than the artificial reasons talked in press and among supporters like seasont that didn't go according to plan or some unhappy players. Barcelona boys want to run the Director of Football system and have head coach rather than old fashioned manager in charge.

The unhappy players bit is very very true I believe but I have never thought that Sheikh Mansour had in mind the kind of continued lavish spending we have seen so far. I recon they were hoping Mancini would come round to a similar way of thinking but his constant complaining about not getting a 28 year old 5th centre forward, etc allied to the fact that nobody seems to like him, has sadly sealed his fate.
Don't know if this bloke is the answer as I don't know if he's another Wenger who can't organise a defence, but we had to head down this road to change sooner rather than later imo, & Bob has indicated he won't change.
