No, I think he has been underwhelming on the whole.
I just dont understand where all these Dzeko critics go when watching Aguero play, and i'm fed up of hearing about him being world class, because whilst I suspec there is a world class player in there somewhere, he never really shows it.
But let me qualify that, before we get any more cunts like 'Big Blue' trying yet again to put fellow blues down rather than debate the point, world class to me is someone who turns out a 8/10 or 9/10 performance week in week out, and is head and shoulders above most of the others on the pitch. I don't think i'm being unfair in saying that since his debut vs Swansea, you can count the number of world class performances from Sergio on the fingers of one hand.
He gets away with it because he keeps his head down and generally looks like he is putting a shift in, but in fact his overall play, not to mention his scoring record, is no better than Dzeko who is slated from the rooftops by all and sundry. Perhaps its because Sergio is cool, because he looks the part that he gets the easy ride, I dunno, but he is nowhere near his potential since arriving at City.
I said a good few weeks ago, think it might have been the Wigan home game where he started picking the ball up and running at players and looked a danger, thats the sprt pf Aguero I want to see.
I'm hoping the issue was Mancini coaching individuality out of him that has caused his performances to be so generally, well, average.
