No wonder , if he manege to buried QPR with all the founds he had, what chance Stoke have.
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Stoke are the 3rd biggest spenders in the premier league in the last 5 years. They have a very rich owner so I have no doubt hughes will be given assurance of funds to spend

He did manage to bag us Kompany and Zabba for a fraction of their value. If he does that at Stoke, they'll have a decent squad. Shame for them he's a shit manager.

WUM?? Had Hughes continued here, we could be QPR now. No joke.

Hughes WILL relegate Stoke. If they are lucky this will be the best outcome.. he could bankrupt them too!!

Anyone who denies that Leslie did good work at our club is taking the piss. He bought our spine and updated our medical and training procedures. Facts that were acknowledged by the club when he left and confirmed by Doug.

He lacked a bit of tactical ability which is where Mancio took us to the next level.

He needs to get his head out of his arse and go back to the basics of what made him succesful at blackburn - an eye for a bargain, have a good mix of youth and experience and drop this 2nd coming of alex ferguson act

He finished 10th in his first season, one place below Sven's placing of 9th in the previous season, this was with Kompany, Zabaleta, Robinho, Craig Bellamy(½ season), Nigel de Jong(½ season) and Shay Given(½ season). When he was sacked the following season, City were in 8th having drawn 8 of their 16 matches that season.

Roberto Mancini with that same side plus the free Patrick Vieira and supersub Adam Johnson, went on to record 11 wins, 5 draws and 5 losses and finish 5th. (Sunderland game is the missing one, before anyone questions the maths.)

You think he did good work? The name Clueless was well and truly earned.

We were 6th when he was sacked 4 points of 5th with a game in hand. not 8th. Mancini finished the season in 5th.

I do agree Hughes wasn't up for the job ultimately though.
