Sky don't tell lies. They are very fair and accurate with their reporting..........a blue flying pig just passed my window.........

I can't say I know too much about this guy. Signing a Brazilian is always a concern, particularly one who has never really featured for the national team. But from what I've read on here and elsewhere, it sounds like he does have the attributes that could suit the Premier League.

I really hope we're not paying anywhere near the higher estimates being given in some media sources. I'm glad the club are buying players early this summer, but the price tags we are rumoured to be paying are still too high, especially as it looks like we've paid more for Navas than what Sevilla were willing to accept.

at the end of the day...most of the press want to overexaggerate what we pay to a) make us look like cunts and b) have a stick to beat any players who don't immediately look the business in the PL

the selling club have zero incentive to correct any "overstatements" as a high price quoted makes them look like they have "driven a good bargain" and not been mugged by either player or purchasing club

City, as per, say fuck all which is the right course of action. The fact that some of you cannot see any of the above and buy into the bullshit and moan that we've been "had" is pretty laughable

Wish we would've signed Taison from Shakhtar but I'll wait and see how this guy turns out.
But I totally agree, low 30m euros is way too much. it better be mid-high 20m's.

Makes you piss - we sign a player and they add bonuses and wages to make us sound like cunts - when the Rags sign someone they do their best to make the sum seem as low as possible!

it's amazing isn't it?

Football365.com is reporting Lil Fernand at 22M and Navas at 17M. Why not get a boner and think we've done good business at those prices, which is the case.

cheers, fuckers.

Definitely should not sign any Brazilians ever again. We shouldn't have signed any more Argentians after Vuoso or English players after Nigel Clough and didn't learn our lesson. Shock and horror...

It's a quality site. Sky bought it a few years ago but I feel it's retained a lot of what I liked.

I don't know whether we've been 'had' or not, any more than you do. But we have overpaid for players in recent years, and all I'm saying is that I hope we're not doing it with a 28 year old, with just 5 Brazil caps, who has spent pretty much his whole career in the Ukraine. Even paying 22/23m seems a lot for a player like that in my opinion.
