This is ridiculous. The club makes more money from oversea revenue, sponsorship and all that other business shit clubs do these days. Why do the fans need to be ripped off. If anything the tickets should be cheaper since the club can afford it. Btw you can't really blame planti whoever said it. Tickets been a rip off for ages now, even before ffp. The German league doesn't seem to have this rip off problem.

Whilst the Sheikh could afford to let us all in for free, FFP won't. What's so hard to understand that we need to balance the books? That doesn't happen at £15 a ticket, so yes, Platini is to blame in our case.

As for German football, the amount of government money they get for stadiums etc may help with their ticket prices and somehow that's legitimate as far as FFP goes.

Under 5's can get in to any game for free but do not get a seat. That would have saved you £20 but i agree is not the best way to treat real fans to be offering such discounts to others.

How can you blame ffp when ticket prices in the premier league have been a rip off for years, before there was a whiff of ffp. Sounds like bolloxs to charge fans more. And yes it is not hard to understand about balancing the books and I wasn't suggesting we go for free. The clubs it self is generating a lot more these days (not through ticket revenue) so the prices should be more reasonable and lowering them wouldn't make much difference to this ffp bolloxs either

This is a point more people need to realise instead of worrying whether some rag cunt will goad them about empty seats.

Barca have tens of thousands of empty seats most weeks, & in fact had a lower average than the rags last season in spite of a 99,000 capacity.

Don't see anyone laughing.

As far as I'm aware away allocations are based on maximum capacity - so a bigger ground for us means more tickets sold to the opposition. Against someone like Wigan it obviously wouldn't make any difference but against a club with a large following it means more people at the ground already.
