I don't think Arsenal or Liverpool can be properly assessed until they've played a decent team. The Arse have only really played Spurs which they were lucky to beat, Liverpool have only really played the Rags whilst Chelsea and the Rags have already played a few of the probable top 6. We've had the Rags and Everton where we demolished both and that's where I think the game will lie. We just need to stop the fuck ups at the back and we'll be fine.
Oh it's an argument you're after Beefy? Ok then, we didn't demolish Everton, they were the better team for most of the first half. How do you like them apples? ;)
ps we'd be top of the league if it wasn't for Joe.

Though, there seems to be more weight placed upon the Champion's League than domestic endeavors. This methodology has undoubtedly cost us points.......

Bayern are the european and german champions and right now probably the best team in the world.

Must say Arsenal are looking good right now. Including last 10 or so games from last season they've only lost 1 in about 22/23 games & they are scoring goals for fun now. Think its between us, Chel & Arse

Chelsea, Spuds won't drop too many to the lower teams this season I rekon. So it will come to head to heads to sort them. City will win out in this imo, with the rest winning some and losing some in no obvious order.
We will take more points of those around us than Arse and Chelsea put together, our achilles is going to be turning up properly v Palace away and the like. We have already dropped 8pts purely against weaker teams.
I've got Spuds to top the rest of the pile for some reason.

Do you think that the lower clubs are dropping back due to the new FFP, like United ;-)

Hey don't give them excuses, they read this forum y'know ;)
I don't see much quality in the rest of the league.. maybe it's me. Soton look interesting so far, Swansea the toffees and maybe one other side. The rest look either to have gone backwards or just stayed static from last season.

I just find it interesting that we've not seen much movement, apart from those who have something to play for and wondered whether it's as a consequence of the mid table Rag mafia [strike]at the top[/strike].
