Then watched that fat cunt brian sssswansssson interview gollum and not once did he quiz him on it. Instead he put a lovely slant on a sending off and a shite result.
If that was us...

To be fair to Ray Wilkins he did call it a blatant dive & even said it's as bad as over the top tackles as it's conning the refs

I don't think there's a conspiracy against us, not do I think that all the fellas he names have an agenda against us. I can switch off and ignore it. In fact, no, scratch that, I actually enjoy listening to them commentate on us through gritted teeth. I certainly don't get wound up by it. Fuck 'em. I didn't want sympathy when we were shite and I don't want sycophancy now we're decent.

£42m.

Even Strachan said last night that it would cost more than the Bale deal (after the other geezer brought it up for no reason whatsoever).
He is on fire at the moment, right up there with Messi and Tranaldo.Goaters 103 wrote:Given Sergio's age, ability, track record and the demand for his services his fee would be north of Bale's and Strachan had this spot on last night which was refreshing. That rules out all potential buyers bar Real Madrid. City would never sell to Chelsea, nor could/would Bayern or Barca pay £85m or more although we would have to obviously ward off the "late swoop" by United and of course the fact that Sergio "really wants to go to Utd" as the Mirror keep telling us about every player on the market.
When Sergio extended his contract by an additional year earlier this year, my assumption was he would play 1 or 2 more years for us and then want to head back to Madrid. If so, then it will have been a privilege to have him at City and we'd would receive a fee far exceeding what we paid. Hope Im wrong, I really do.

let's assume RM gives us 85M. is there any player we could buy with 85M who would reasonably replace aguero in our style of play?

You're right there mate...
But would you say this is the reason that the media constantly report that every player wants to leave, no player wants to come and every player we managed to bribe into joining us is available at half price?
I would understand no coverage for us or less than them, but we actually get equal coverage for the most part. It's just we're painted as evil, while they are painted as good.

Ultimately though, isn't it better to be hated and brilliant, than pitied and shite? :)

It's better to be hated and brilliant.
Ultimately though, it's better to be loved for being being brilliant.
To be honest, I'm well aware that loads hate us because of the money and what they perceive to be unfair competition. I love it when we win in spite of this.
What I hate most at the minute is having to listen to it while I'm watching a game.
And stop disagreeing with me - you know how angry I get :)
