Their real problem is that it's hard for them to evolve from being a selling club. Still last season they relied on free kicks and aerial threats. They're miles better this season; a really good passing team.

Has them 5th so far, so worse than the real table.
I don't know if Everton will be able to keep their performance level as high for the full season, but if they can then they are definitely in with a strong shout of finishing in the top 4. And I'd like to see that too!
Funny how I hated Moyes Everton for so long but can so suddenly love Martinez's Everton.

By their methodology it actually wasn't a great weekend for us, as we dropped 2 more but Chelsea only 1 (as Stoke are higher rated than Southampton).
I don't know what to expect when we play Arsenal. I think we should be able to cause them huge problems ... but then I could see them causing our shaky defense massive problems too. Should be a really really good game.

I agree with Ted that we should take a long hard look at Barkley. He won't come cheap mind but he looks as if he's got a sensible head on his shoulders and he certainly has a lot of talent.

Nope. Beat them head to head twice and match every other result and we win on GD.
Far too early in season to say we need other results to for us.

At the time of the writing Arsenal was one up. So we needED them to drop points.

You don't get points for being one up.

I thought we always were?
The bookies aren't usually wrong (unless you're Red Fred or whoever it was who paid out early ;-)) and they'll have analysed the games to come with a touch of where they think teams will exceed.
