he tried it on with de jong when he was on loan at bolton.
however i disagree with all the 'hes shit' verdicts. hes class for england.
but yes i'd rather have Barkley.

Anyone complaining about or acting offended by Wilshere's middle finger is a soft bastard. Obviously there's a limit to what's acceptable (effing and blinding down a live TV camera, for instance, is not), but you should never dish out abuse if you won't accept the returns.

Can't say I've noticed him being class for England very much. Shit & slow & very very annoying are my recent memories.
No one falls over easier than that cheating shite, but it's close - Wilshire couldn't get close to the box on Saturday, in fact he struggled getting into our half.branny wrote:He falls over easier than Ashley Young. The difference is Wilshere usually does it before he gets anywhere near the box.

Ted Hughes wrote: He is supposed to be the next big thing in English football. The nearest I can liken him to, is the fat, drunken, injured, finished, version of Gascoigne we saw at the death of his career, not the young up & coming version. Wilshire will never be fit to even drink in the same pub, let alone compare on the pitch.

By the time these guys are 21, it's made up that they will be global superstars and saviors of the national team, each one of them. Walcott, Wilshire, Hart ... they're told they've already made it by everyone around them from their first appearance. They come out of the gate on fire, have some spectacular performances, and then as the energy of youth wears down ... they don't have the fire necessary to take their game to the next level. Tale as old as time.
