Reasonably good player but not as good as he thinks he is.
Dirty player but hates it if anyone gets stuck in on him.

He's a perfect fit for Arsenal.

If I had thousands chanting 'wanker' at me I'd respond in a similar way to be honest. Too many fans get easily offended nowadays when players give it back after untold stick from them. I found it funny rather than offensive

I laughed fair play to him, he was showing a side of football we must never lose. Bellers gave it back at almost at every away ground.
Chelsea and the scum he was outstanding in his reply to the fans who gave it him.

i also agree he should be at united due to his cuntness.

he tried it on with de jong when he was on loan at bolton.

however i disagree with all the 'hes shit' verdicts. hes class for england.

but yes i'd rather have Barkley.

Give shit, get shit. That's where part of the fun is in football.

Anyone complaining about or acting offended by Wilshere's middle finger is a soft bastard. Obviously there's a limit to what's acceptable (effing and blinding down a live TV camera, for instance, is not), but you should never dish out abuse if you won't accept the returns.

Over the last 5 years or so the Arse have become one of the most petulant shitty teams when things go against them (and they so often get the rub of the green too).

Couldn't agree more. I was in the bottom of 110, and we were giving him some severe shit for throwing his toys out of the pram when Zabba got the decision over a GK/corner. When he did the finger, it just made it even funnier and we just took the piss even more. All a bit of a nothing really, and certainly not worth a ban.

Agreed. Only there because of his club. Bit like Walcott, Oxlade, Jones, Young, Cleverly, Welbeck, Henderson, Sterling, Johnson,Jenkinson, Smalling. Probably why watching England is fucking annoying

He falls over easier than Ashley Young. The difference is Wilshere usually does it before he gets anywhere near the box.

No one falls over easier than that cheating shite, but it's close - Wilshire couldn't get close to the box on Saturday, in fact he struggled getting into our half.

He is supposed to be the next big thing in English football.

The nearest I can liken him to, is the fat, drunken, injured, finished, version of Gascoigne we saw at the death of his career, not the young up & coming version. Wilshire will never be fit to even drink in the same pub, let alone compare on the pitch.

Yet another young English 'prospect' fucked over by Wenger?

I'd say he's successfully held back Walcott, Oxlaid-C, Wiltshire - i think there's more - mixture of a mad number of injuries, his wanker-wenger attitude and fannying around with their positions.

I don't think it's necessarily a case of fucked over by Wenger ... I'd say he was well and truly fucked by the english media from the start. Same with Hart ... he wasn't fucked by any of our managers, or our system ... he just got a massive complex from the media.

By the time these guys are 21, it's made up that they will be global superstars and saviors of the national team, each one of them. Walcott, Wilshire, Hart ... they're told they've already made it by everyone around them from their first appearance. They come out of the gate on fire, have some spectacular performances, and then as the energy of youth wears down ... they don't have the fire necessary to take their game to the next level. Tale as old as time.

Agree, Wegner did nothing wrong. They just failed to step up to the next level. Henry was moved from winger to striker and became a world beater. The guys quoted above were just blown out of proportion and had their weaknesses glossed over after a few good games (much like that scum youngster now) without showing sustained, consistent play over a whole season at the top level.
