Our U21's = a skillful passing game, great movement, exciting attacking intent. Their U21's = kick and rush like stoke . . I was going to say like Everton but moyes has left and Di Mateo has them playing real footie now.

Chuffed to that Greg Leigh scored.Local lad from Sale and his dad is one I often speak to .He will be doubly well pleased.Nice run from Cole to set up the 2nd goal. He has real pace moving with the ball and a constant threat like that when he takes players on.

There is no 'sure thing' in football, but if I had to pick a player who I thought was nearest to it, then he would be the one I'd pick.
He just looks absolutely nailed on to be a proper footballer imo possibly a very top one. The thing I'm not sure about is if that will be at centre back or not.
Like many of our young cbs, I picture him v a Negredo or a Peter Crouch in 3 years time & ask the quesation of would I expect him to cope ? Can't say I'm convinced any of them could do it (mind you, Nastasic can't get near players like that & he still gets games). But it's not certain. I can't see Rekik ever doing it successfully though, for example, but he's no Denayer.
Denayer to me, can easily step forward & do Garcia's job in the future if he can't be a Prem cb. Rekik possibly could that too, but Denayer is better than him at everything.
I also wonder if Denayer is just too good a footballer to be stuck at the back anyway, even if he can do it.
