Still odd timing as a new manager/head coach will still want to try and get the sporting director to look at some players in the Jan window. Now any new manager will need to hope he's good enough to keep them up and last out to summer.

My Swansea-supporting mates generally see him as 'another manager carefully chosen by Jenkins', but think he's more prone to rocking the boat and angling for a move to a bigger club than Martinez, Sousa and Rodgers were. I don't know whether the Swans have got someone lined up (Poyet would have been my bet had he gone earlier), or if the relationship soured too much, but the Chairman will have the majority of the fans' backing on this, in my opinion.
