Really showed fight and strength and held up the ball superbly, fending off 2-3 Chelsea players before laying the ball off on more than one occasion. Will he start against Barca? I guess Aguero will be on the bench so it's two from Jovetic, Negredo and Dzeko.

It's funny how fans' view of performances can differ so markedly. I thought Dzeko's first touch was again poor on too many occasions and was frustrated by his lack of pace. I left the game thinking that there is no way he'll start on Tuesday

It was one of his better performances for sure, I was quite impressed with him which makes a change.

That imo explains his lack of pace, he's not normally the quickest but he's no slouch either. He put in a great shift and caused their defence problems as well as laying off a lovely assist for Jovetic. I reckon we'll see him and Negredo from the start Wednesday night unless Aguero makes a quick recovery.
