And thats where he could hit a sticky wicket because they can only target money held in US or EU accounts. I would imagine he'd only be targeted if he's seen as supporting the highly democratic regime they have over there (Putin) but his business is/was gas wasn't it so he'd surly be in bed with him somewhere down the line?
I know it's different and this is melodramatic, but with what is happening in Crimea today with the referendum and all the potential for it to escalate, you start to get a bit of an idea of the fear that existed during the Cold War... only luckily now the guys with the red button in Moscow probably have second homes here in London that they don't want getting irradiated.

Abramovich was the first person to originally recommend to Yeltsin that Vladimir Putin be his successor as the Russian president. When Putin formed his first cabinet as Prime Minister in 1999, Abramovich interviewed each of the candidates for cabinet positions before they were approved. Subsequently Abramovich would remain one of Putin's closest confidants. In 2007 Putin consulted in meetings with Abramovich on the question of who should be his successor as president - Medvedev was personally recommended by Abramovich

This rumour could also include leaving Chelsea in debt, ffp, Hazard being concerned, & wanting to come to City.

We really do not want to be putting sanctions on Russia, it will hurt us alot more than it will hurt them,

David 'I'm a tough guy' Cameron likes to talk big and, apart from bombing Libya, when push comes to shove he'll scuttle away like a demented rat, in order to not let his friends in the City be out of pocket in any way.
Heaven forfend that London is ever adversely affected.

I also liked that he didnt accepted the legitimacy of the Crimea referendum, despite praising the Falkland Islands one last year, which was about as official as a school debate. He needs to keep his mouth shut on this one as I know for a fact that the UK Govt at least have considereded to anex Faslane in the event of a Yes vote in Scotland. Russia is looking after its military interests just as the rUK or any other nation that considers itself a military power would.

The democratically elected Mr Putin would probably look at annexing that part of London too...
It would be good to know where these gas lines are and how twitchy those countries start to become as the USSR oops i mean Russia begin to close the curtain again.

So when I asked 'in bed' in truth they're shacked up and emptying each other sacks!
I would say then that he is certainly in the catchment criteria - depends how serious they want to take this. I wonder if he's had a letter to say 'your next or start to have a word with your pal'?
Also the ones locked down by the EU haven't been named so maybe he's already been hit?
