what's gloating? we are not singing about winning the league, we are singing about an incident that happened that cost liverpool 3 points against Chelsea using their own Gerrard theme tune.
The fact that you are missing the point speaks volumes. Like ted says it something Rags are known for not us.

Whats wrong with the Gerrard song, its topical and funny, it will die off as soon as it arrived. It shows banter and a collective togetherness of fans that simply detest the dippers. We are not singing we are going to win the league FFS, its a witty song on the back of the ironic slip after he made his war cry!
Many City fans sat near me on Wednesday thought it was totally classless and unlike us to sing such a song. Leave the premature gloating to the scummy dippers.

It's not something City fans are known for.
On a day we play Liverpool, singing it at them then, sure, but singing songs about other team's players, & gloating about their misfortune, when we are not even playing them..
I can't remember us ever doing that before. Apart from about the rags & that's fair enough as they are our local rivals.
This is a new one & something usually only rag type fans indulge in.
It has put us in a different bracket & will probably stick there now.

FFS that quote coming from you is fucking rich beyond belief. You probably didn't sing it as you had your back to the pitch looking for people who werent proper mancs and telling them they are not a proper fan like you

I didn't sing it because I'm not a classless wanker. My point is that singing songs like that will make us look like real twats if we mess up on Sunday. Shame on any of you that stoopes to the rags and dippers level and sang it.

ever sang the ryan giggs or runway songs by any chance? Make sure to bring your halo, never had you down as the classy superfan. Your posts certainly dont paint that picture!

My point is that the timing is wrong.

I couldn't give a shit if it upset the Liverpool fans, however, with the conditions on Wednesday night, I did feel we were tempting fate.
More than happy to sing it after the final whistle on Sunday. Or at least I would be if I wasn't in the family stand. I've convinced my 8 year old Zabaleta is a football man, but not sure what I'm going to do over Stevie G.
